Jujuy Model Forest is a civil association that performs and executes projects with the aim of contributing to the integrated management of natural resources in the Los Pericos-Manantiales in the province of Jujuy in northern Argentina.
The BMJ workspace is one of the most economically important watersheds Jujuy and involves an area of 1,300 km2, and about 100,000 inhabitants.
The Association is currently running thirteen projects in which social actors in the area are the main protagonists as only sustainable development is achieved with the real commitment of the people who are in daily contact with our natural resources. For example, find information on the Native Species Nursery of NW Argentina, we work in conjunction with an agricultural school to train students and raising awareness about the importance of forest resources.
